Pheww…
Lot of things to say, but it’s good stuff, right?
Okay,
here’s the beginning of the story that will last for two weeks (including this
one).
The
prompt was given to me by CB: Stranger, lost luggage, airport.
I hope
you’ll enjoy it.

Anton
looked at his watch impatiently. He felt that they’d waited in line on that
plane for hours. For Christ’s sake, how long did it take to disembark? That's
why he hated to travel so far to attend a meeting. If the client wasn't so
important, he would have never made the trip
to New-York. He hated the weather, he hated the New-Yorkers, and he hated the
pollution. And most of all, he hated this particular client; he was arrogant,
self-centered, and he expected everyone to be at his beck and call. Not to
mention that he thought he was irresistible and always tried to flirt with Anton
and get him into bed. The jerk didn’t want to accept that Anton wouldn’t have
him, even if he was the last man on earth. Being gay didn’t mean that Anton
would fuck just anybody.
Five
minutes to three. If this unboarding lasted much longer, he would never be on
time for his appointment. And then, he would never stop hearing about it.
Sighing, he realized with relief that people were finally beginning to move
towards the aircraft's exit. When he finally reached the corridor that led down
to the airport, he quickened his pace to retrieve his luggage. Another thing he
hated; being forced to spend the night here, far away from home, on Christmas’ Eve,
even if he didn’t have anybody to spend it with. He was an only child and his
parents passed away a few years before in a car accident. The only family he
had now was an aunt, and he really didn’t get along with her. So they just
ignored each other. As far as he was concern, he had no family left. Anyway,
the client requested he attend a dinner with his shareholders, and his boss had
agreed.
He looked
for his little black bag on the treadmill, but didn't see it. He began to panic
when everyone had recovered their luggage and his still didn't appear. He
groaned inwardly. It wasn't so much that his suitcase’s contents had any value;
everything he needed for the meeting was in his briefcase, but it meant that he
would be even more delayed, and he couldn't afford it. He picked up his phone
and called his assistant on the east coast, explained him what happened, and asked
him to take care of it. His room was already booked, courtesy of his boss—the
least he could do, considering he agreed to Anton spending the night without
even asking—. As for tonight, well he always slept naked and the hotel would supply
the immediate necessities. The only things he absolutely needed to purchase
would be a suit for tomorrow. He knew he could find that in the hotel’s clothing
store.
That
problem resolved, for now anyway, he turned around and headed towards the
airport's exit to find himself staring down into intense blue eyes. He froze
and allowed himself for a second to be overwhelmed by all sorts of sensations that
this piercing gaze brought through his body. He couldn’t see anything except
those eyes; he was so focused on them that the rest of the man’s features were
blurry. A million thoughts crossed his mind as he stared, none of them suitable
in an airport. It’s been a long time since Anton was so enthralled by the sight
of a simple pair of eyes, and he wanted nothing more than to stay here and talk
to their owner. Unfortunately, he really had no time to indulge himself by
doing so. He mentally cursed his client who forced him to let go of this man,
when he wanted desperately to learn more about him. He took another second to
stare at the stranger’s eyes facing him, and then he reluctantly tore his gaze from
the other man. After giving a small nod and grin to let him know that he
appreciated the sight, he resumed his walk toward the exit without looking
back.
