A New Start Part 2

Hello and welcome to this new Monday.

I hope everybody’s feeling good.

I have an annoncement to make: Em new book is out. It's an anthologie named His Hero.. And of course, there is still Lee's book The Librarian. And while we're at it, why don't you check Hank's book A Very Dirty Dozen....

This prompt is a following of the last one. Remember, this week I’m in the group who’s writing 250 words max (the “hook up”) with Hank Edwards and JR Boyd, while Lee Brazil, Havan Fellows and Em Woods are writing the long story (up to 1500 words)

I still didn’t settle for a title for this story.. Maybe next Monday!
Today’s Prompt:
A young man who’s just spent several hours studying at a coffeehouse notices someone watching him.

Andrew sighed and took another sip of his coffee. He’d been here for hours, studying the divorce papers and he still didn’t understand anything his lawyer had written; and he was supposed to meet him in twenty minutes! The divorce was almost settled but there were still a few things that needed his complete attention. The thing is, he couldn’t stop thinking about Antonio and as hard as he tried, the words in front of him made no sense at all. It’d been six days… and the Italian man never called him.
He didn’t go back to the pub after their meeting, he couldn’t handle it. It reminded him too much of the aborted rendezvous.  He silently cursed; that wasn’t even a rendezvous, just an encounter, which obviously didn’t leave Antonio breathless as it did to him.
So instead of the pub he used to love and where he knew almost everybody, he was now sitting all alone in an anonymous coffeehouse, a place he discovered while driving to meet his attorney, at the opposite side of the town, an area he usually never came to for a good reason. It wasn’t the safest one.
He suddenly felt the hair on his nape rise, sensing someone was looking intensely at him. Giving the neighborhood, he wasn’t sure he wanted to know who was staring at him. But his curiosity won and he slowly turned around and locked his eyes with the green ones he’s been dreaming about for six days.

As usual, you'll find the links to my SO family blogs below.....
